I am a Ph.D candidate in the departments of sociology and informatics at Indiana University as a fellow of the Complex Systems and Networks-NSF Research Traineeship program (CNS-NRT). I am originally from New Jersey and received a B.A. in mathematics from Rutgers University in 2016.
My research uses computational methods, particularly networks, to better understand authority and knowledge. My dissertation looks at the social impacts of AI on the medical profession. I am particularly interested in the social processes behind and the consequences of data-driven technology.
I am passionate about technological literacy in all its forms and have frequently given talks and workshops on computational methods, like introductory Python and supercomputing. Before academia, I worked in the rock climbing industry.
